manipulation permission
i put my hand in horse butts for a living. i am not this type of manipulator. but makima is! and she has means of understanding character weak points that i’ll need help identifying (with your permission, of course)! makima has perfected her understanding of human behavior much like a psychologist who uses their knowledge for evil, to the point that she may very well pick up subtle information that can be used to interact with other characters and shape herself into what they might need at the time. is your character lonely? looking for a mentor? do they crave a maternal figure? are they just horny and never had a girl, but want to? this could show in every day interactions, and while i may pick up on a few, makima would pick up . . . more, lol.
to make everyone’s life easier, i've prepared a little form that you may fill out below! thanks a bunch if you do, since it could definitely help with the flow of things! if your character wouldn’t show their weaknesses so easily, that’s perfectly fine and makes the “chase” much more fun, so please feel free to put that down, too!

what is your character’s weakness? what do they desire and/or fear the most?: It's very important for Light to come off as competent and capable. Aside from the whole mass murdering thing, he really does also want a world full of justice and is safe for good people.
His biggest secret is the mass murdering.
can this be loosely deduced based on assessing character behavior, or will this require more digging?: His desire for justice is obvious; he'll talk about it. It will be very difficult to learn about his life as Kira. I'm open to an event or some such exposing him at some point, but he hides his guilt perfectly otherwise.
