WANT A CONTRACT?
CREATING CONTRACTS
player characters can create contracts with makima if they wish. what do these contracts entail and what are the rules of usage?
🌸 how they work: these are binding in nature and cannot be broken on pain of death. when a devil or human offers a contract and the human accepts, neither can go back on their word. by sacrificing something the devil finds valuable and will cause suffering, humans are able to use the supernatural abilities of contracted devils either through summoning the devil or use their abilities themselves, to an extent. humans can sacrifice their body parts, senses, lifespans, legal children, or their legally responsible individuals by verbally accepting or offering the terms. they cannot sacrifice someone unrelated to them, however, they can incapacitate someone else that may be valuable to offer them to a devil as a sacrifice (makima, for example, would value sharing abilities to an extent or asking for a character’s help if she’s in danger) . due to rp nature, i'm going to say that contracts may end after character death, but this is up to the player.
